JOHANNESBURG – With youth unemployment sitting at around 45.5%, it’s more important than ever to help young people gain skills that are in critical shortage in the country.

It’s with this in mind that the 2024 National Schools Skills Competition, in partnership with Sasol, hosted an event in which young people are encouraged to pursue careers in skilled trades, such as welding, electrical work, automotive services, and construction.
